Dahab / South Sinai Dahab (Arab.- "Gold") splits into 2 main areas, the Lagoon (El Qura Bay) and the Beduini village in Ghazala Bay (which in a turn splits into Masbad and El Assalah), offering a different life. The Lagoon has wonderful wind-and kitesurfing confitions and big hotels (Hilton, Swiss Inn, Novotel...). The village offers chipper accomodation, shopping, nightlife - and windsurfing on the waves. Dahab is famous for its deceptive deep dive sites such as the Blue Hole, the Canyon and the Lighthouse... It is also a nice starting point for trips around Sinai.
